Configuring other connection settings

Connection settings can be configured in the Connection section of the Program settings menu of the PolyAnalyst Analytical client, or from the Administrative Tool.

Connection parameters refer to the default values used when making new connections as well as some ways to make the login form more convenient.

  • Default server address - This is the default server address to fill into the login form

  • Server port - This is the default port number to fill into the login form

  • Allow user to terminate RPC calls - If checked, users can press F12 to stop communication between the client and the server. This is for more advanced users only, and it is not recommended to use this option. You may be asked to enable this option during a technical support session with a Megaputer representative

  • Auto-login if connection was broken - If checked, current users are automatically logged in case of connection failure.
