To make an announcement, right-click an event in the tree and select an appropriate option from the Add task drop-down menu.

Then type a text of an announcement.

In this case, a user will see the announcement on the login page:

An announcement can be used for a so-called Maintenance mode, i.e. special "private" mode of the PolyAnalyst server while which maintenance works are in progress. Enter a message of the mode and set its duration.

It is also possible to delay a start of the mode, i.e. set a delay time.

When the maintenance mode is on, all users will be logged out automatically and the server will be unavailable. Projects in progress will be stopped as well. Check the Wait until execution is finished checkbox to start the mode after finishing all the projects.

Only adminstrators and operators can use the PolyAnalyst server while the maintenance mode is on.
